AWEA Windpower 2017: Successful market entry for UKA

At the AWEA Windpower 2017 UKA introduced its new US entity to the market and staged a successful tradeshow exhibit at booth C-2228.

As an experienced developer, owner and operator of wind farms, the company ranks among the top two wind farm developers in Germany (E&M ranking 2016). With its expansion to the United States the UKA Group continues to push forward with its growth outside the German home market.

“We are very satisfied with our first participation at the AWEA Conference and Exhibit in 2017. We had many fruitful discussions and found new business partners to realize our wind and solar pipeline in an efficient and effective way in the US.“, that is the positive conclusion drawn by Dr. Kay Dahlke, managing director of UKA’s new entity in the US.

UKA North America LLC (UKA NA) has its office in Stuart (Florida) and is managed by Dr. Kay Dahlke and Dr. Ingo Stuckmann. Through a close cooperation with Wind Works Power Corp (WWP) and the acquisition of profitable projects, UKA NA has since acquired a 1 GW pipeline of wind and solar projects, and, has incorporated experienced staff as well. WWP has developed four wind farms in the US with a combined 436 MW in the past 15 years.

UKA NA safe harbored production tax credits (PTC) in order to qualify wind projects with a volume of around 600 million US dollar.
