“In recent years, we have defined and standardised our work processes so that we can always offer our customers a high standard of quality. This has now been recognised by a well-known certifier,” says CEO Thorsten Wiegers.
The certificate is initially valid for three years. Within the validity period, however, annual reviews of the implemented processes will continue to take place via monitoring audits. “We are only going to get better by following this approach,” Wiegers affirms. After three years UKB will be subject to a further audit process and will aim to achieve recertification.
ISO 9001:2015 is the most widely-used standard for quality management both nationally and internationally. The audit checks and documents adherence to defined quality standards, as well as a process of continuous improvement.
