UKA brings together entrepreneurial forces in a new structure

UKA remains on course for growth and is positioning itself well for the currently favorable market environment in Germany and abroad. What is changing for business partners – and what will remain the same.

UKA continues to thrive and is positioning itself for the currently favorable market environment in Germany as well as in other European and non-European countries. We want to advance the rapid expansion of renewable energies, independent energy supplies and climate neutrality.

On January 1, 2023, several companies in the UKA Group will be merged in terms of organization and legal structure. With this new structure, we are positioning ourselves as a corporate group to achieve these goals in the best possible way.

As part of the merger, the assets, liabilities, and all rights and obligations of UKA Meißen Projektentwicklung GmbH & Co. KG, UKA Cottbus Projektentwicklung GmbH & Co. KG, and UKA Nord Projektentwicklung GmbH & Co. KG will be transferred through universal succession to UKA Umweltgerechte Kraftanlagen GmbH & Co. KG. As a result, all legal relationships and obligations previously entered into by the project development companies shall automatically be transferred to UKA Umweltgerechte Kraftanlagen GmbH & Co without any action being required on the part of UKA business partners.

Starting in January 2023, Stefan Kath will take over as Chief Operating Officer and be responsible for M&A, joining Ralf Breuer and Gernot Gauglitz on the Executive Team.

For all those who maintain business relationships with the companies mentioned above, this means that from the start of the new year, their contractual partner will be UKA Umweltgerechte Kraftanlagen GmbH & Co. KG. All contracts and their respective obligations will remain unaffected. Of course, all previous contact persons can still be reached under the previous contact details.

In the coming years, UKA intends to build on its successes to date, continue on its growth trajectory and, as one of the leading energy park developers in Germany, help drive the energy transition forward. Therefore, the UKA team looks forward to continuing strong cooperation with all partners.
