Your career at UKA

Be part of the energy revolution – as an employee of the UKA Group

UKA plans, builds, supports and operates wind and solar farms as well as associated infrastructure. Founded in 1999, the company is one of the leading German developers with more than 60 renewable energy farms* connected to the grid and an international project pipeline of four gigawatts. What started with a team of three in Meißen transformed in a matter of years into a successful Group with around 700 employees in Meißen, Cottbus, Rostock, Lohmen in Mecklenburg as well as in Bielefeld, Erfurt, Hanover, Heilbronn, Magdeburg, Oldenburg and Straubing.  It is also currently expanding its business activities in other European markets including UKA Iberia which operates from Madrid.  In addition, UKA North America from Stuart (Florida) and UKA Chile from Santiago de Chile are driving promising renewable energy projects in North, Central and South America.

Today, UKA is one of the largest wind farm developers in Germany, an achievement that was only possible thanks to the effective teamwork of geographers, industrial engineers, surveying technicians, foresters, business economists, lawyers and many other professionals trained to the highest technical and commercial level.

In order to meet this high standard, our staff receive regular training on the latest project development methods.

“I work at UKA since 2015. I opted for a career in the wind energy industry, because the energy revolution is a vital intergenerational project. My job primarily involves planning wind farm layouts. A project must always be commercially sound, which is why profitability calculations are another important aspect of my work.”
