UKA plants trees to protect our climate

Over 100 UKA employees participated in the worldwide climate strike on 20 September 2019. For each attendee UKA plans to plant five trees.

Thus, as part of the environmental action, 515 trees will be planted by UKA. Currently, UKA is still looking for suitable areas to do so. Alternatively, they are also considering to support local initiatives that promote the planting of trees in the interests of climate change. "We are interested in high-quality and sustainable implementation," explains Daniel Pick, Head of Nature and Wildlife Protection in the UKA Group.

Update: After this, many UKA employees participated in another worldwide climate strike. So far, 100 trees have been planted. 705 more trees are going to be planted.
