Since 2017, UKA has been active in the United States, a steadily growing market for land-based wind and solar energy. Our dedication to meet and exceed the highest industry standards, paired with our desire to provide benefits for all stakeholders, has laid our foundation for successful U.S. projects.

As part of the UKA Group, UKA North America has more than 20 years of experience in project development in Europe. Working closely with leading wind turbine manufacturers and local partners, UKA develops projects that successfully position themselves amid tough competition.

With a U.S. head office in Stuart, Florida, and a local office in Austin, Texas, UKA North America has more than 20 employees working to promote and implement promising onshore projects in the fields of wind and solar energy in Virginia, Texas, New Mexico, Utah, Montana, and Illinois, among others. A current project underway is Hickory Wind, an 80 megawatt wind park coming to La Salle County, Illinois.

    UKA North America is actively seeking further project development opportunities with utilities and corporate customers. The company specializes in the development, technical design and implementation of wind and solar photovoltaic parks.
